Baron Phillipe Rosé
Spanish Rosé – Kosher Dry Wine
The Spanish wines of the Baron Philippe winery have a far-reaching reputation for excellence and superior quality in the wine world.
This Baron Philippe Rosé is no exception but is an extra delight at a very reasonable price for such a well-balanced and flavourful wine.
This is a phenomenal kosher French rosé that many will find surprisingly full bodied for a rosé. It is, in fact, a medium bodied wine but very daring and rich for a rosé yet maintains a well-balanced approach.
Like most high-quality rosés, it offers easy drinking, but this charming wine doesn’t compromise on flavour at all. It is smooth with a subtle tannic taste. There is a decent presence of acidity and an alluring rhubarb and blood orange aroma.
The Baron Philippe Rosé has an attractive salmon hue and floral notes with strong flavours of white fruits and a notable hint of oak and sour berries. It presents a medium length and light finish.
Dry rosé, like the lovely Baron Philippe Rosé, normally pair as a white would, and you would think this rosé would pair similarly as the Baron Philippe White i.e. with fish, chesses or light pasts and rice dishes. However, given its unusually rich taste and more body it can definitely be paired with more robust dishes as well, such as chicken with heavier sauces, curried meats and vegetables or even light rack of lamb chops.
