Chateau La Tour Blanche 2014

Kosher White Wine – Sauternes Region – Semi Dry, Semi Sweet French Wine

The Chateau La Tour Blanche 2014 is a luxurious semi sweet white wine.
It has a divine but not overpowering sweetness and is made from Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle grapes.
This vintage delivers a wonderfully powerful and complex sweet, yet acidic white wine that is a pleasure to the palate.
It is an excitingly rich white kosher wine with tastes ranging from peppery tropical fruits to honeyed crackers and even slightly earthy minerals.
A high acidity leaves this elegant white dessert wine beautifully balanced. The Sauvignon Blanc grapes were harvested early to achieve this delightful acidity level and tannins offer a strength and backbone to this vibrant golden yellow Sauternes wine.
With a long finish, a thick and creamy feel and being surprisingly full bodied for a white wine, the Chateau La Tour Blanche is a stimulating wine that is excellent to drink right away but with expectations for superb aging as well.
In addition to the powerful flavours from tropical fruits, drinkers can expect a balance of citrus fruit flavours and oaky notes. There is a pleasant strong aroma of pineapple, tangerine and apricots.

Pairing Suggestion:

This stunning white wine is traditionally seen as a dessert wine and pairs perfectly with lemon tart and desserts containing custards. However, thanks to its semi dry aspect it can have a much broader application when dining. This white semi sweet and semi dry Sauternes wine will also be a treat to pair with spiced dishes, Asian cuisine or soft or hard cheeses
